Gravy Live Shopping Free App for iOS Features Items Where Price Drops Until Sold

Long-time SlickDealer, one of my first times in a while to post a deal and was surprised to not see this anywhere on SD yet:

There is an app called Gravy Live Shopping on the App Store for iOS - not out yet for Android but they say they're working on it.

They put one item up for sale every day but Saturdays at 8:30pm ET. They don't say what it is in advance, or how many they have for sale. They announce the item and its MSRP at 8:30 and then they start dropping the price (and quickly!) until it sells out. Because you don't know the quantity, it's a gamble whether you should wait and let the price keep dropping, or go ahead and grab it at whatever the current price is.

At the end, they show you a leaderboard of who paid what so you can see who got the best deals. There's also a chat going on at the same time which is kind of fun because you'll recognize some of the chat names on the leaderboard if they bought the item, and a lot of the same people are online every night.

The app is free, there is no cost whatsoever to this thing -- the founders say they're charging the brand of the item they're featuring in exchange for the ad placement. Very fun live host hawks the product as the price drops.

Guys behind this company were the founders of Jellyfish.com if anyone here remembers that site (Microsoft ultimately bought it and turned it into Bing Cashback).

They've just been live for two weeks and have already featured Apple Watches, Apple EarPods, SONOS speakers, Echo Dots, a DJI Mavik drone, PS4s, and some slightly less exciting but still cheap items like a waffle maker, Patagonia jackets, and a vacuum cleaner. I have some screenshots if anybody wants to see them.

They don't have any kind of referral program. I just wanted to post bc this is the first time in a while I had something super-awesome that I didn't see posted on SD already. Smilie Please be gentle if I formatted this wrong!

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Your post is popping up as "Expired" but I am going to comment and thumbs you up anyway!

I have been pretty active on Gravy since it first came out. My sister was the one to tell me about it. Of course I waited until she received her Apple AirPods (for $80) to make sure this wasn't some kind of scam, but it is 100% real folks.

Few things to add: Link to download app (iOS only): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id1354510058

Free shipping, no tax, United States ONLY, no refunds, all NEW conditioned items.

You can win money! - I've won $30 so far. Let's you cash out via PayPal once you hit $10.

P.S. I miss JellyFish.com

And also, what kind of company would make a app for the lesser popular platform only??

No idea why it is popping up expired. The app is free. It will gain traction once their company starts really advertising. Take advantage of the deals while it's early!!!

I think it's only been out for a couple weeks. Android could be a possibility, who knows.

Yep, but as stated above, they have crippled themselves for being on the lower platform only. You would think if a company is only going to offer one platform to start with it would be the dominant leader.

That's my point, why lower you coverage from the beginning??

The way it was explained to me was that they WANTED the lesser used OS so they could beta-test it. They did iron out a few kinks the first week and have rolled out updates you can see in the App Store, they're not on version 1.0 anymore.

Not sure why this is expired, will see what I did wrong or maybe a mod changed it, I'm sorry if it was me!

It isn't expired anymore - as of a few minutes ago. You could put free in title? Smilie

Does anyone have a referral code for Gravy.live? Thinking it's like HQ where you get a free life. Let me know. Thanks
