Alexa ordering rookie—I add to my cart and clip the coupon, how to I tell Alexa to purchase the stuff in my cart?

I followed it up by saying, "Alexa, purchase air wick essential...lavender" and it said that the price was $9.xx...just wasn't sure it would clip the coupon, so I bailed.

As long as you clip the coupon before you order with Alexa it works.

Make sure you clip coupon, then add to cart, then order through Alexa. Alexa should say the total after coupon. If she doesn't, repeat process and make sure the coupon is clipped.

It worked for me - clipped coupon, added to cart... then asked Alexa to order "Airwick essential..blah.." She said she found 1 item in my cart, confirmed final price of $7.30 after coupon....maybe they resolved the issue on backend.

Thanks for the info everyone...finally got it to go (had one-click payment issue not assigned to a CC). One last rookie question? Smilie

I have shipping set to default to the slow setting; will I get the $1 credit I normally get, or do we lose it circumventing the minimum requirement for add-on items by using Alexa?

Thanks again for the info, guys!

Hmmm... good question. Hopefully, someone can answer this because I am not sure. I don't have my shipping set this way, as I like my 2 day shipping.

I have been asking the same question as well for a while. As far as I know, Alexa uses 1-Click setting defaults for shipping. I have it set to 3-5 day shipping, but I don't believe that's exactly the same thing as "No-Rush Shipping." I have NOT seen any no-rush credit for any of the voice orders I have placed so far. I'm starting to think that getting no-rush shipping credits for voiced orders aren't possible.

Are these compatible? If so seems like a good deal to stock up on

Edit: I'm thinking no, and apparently it smells like ass anyway
