No time like the present to plan Summer fun now whilst it's cheap

Both American and JetBlue Airways have round trip airfares travelling from New York City (JFK) to Bermuda (BDA) for $265, nonstop. You may or may not return with the same airline, it all depends on the flight you choose on the date that this fare is available. Fares are regular, main cabin economy.

Travel Availability:
Departs JFK: June 1-6, 8-13, 16-20, 23-28; July 2-28, 30-31; Aug 1-4, 7-12, 14-25, 28-29
Returns: wide and good availability

Use dates and book it with your favorite and reputable OTA such as Priceline [priceline.com], Travelocity [travelocity.com], Expedia [expedia.com]. Bundling hotel with airfare will save money and be sure to look for any daily resort fees so you aren't surprised when you check in.

How hot does it get there? Any indoor activities to avoid the heat all day there?

It's more north. About the same latitude as Savannah. It will be hot in summer but not brutal heat and sun like some of the Caribbean islands. But really most of the reasons to go there are for the outdoors and beaches so....

Bermuda <> Bahamas. Don't want you to mistakenly end up buying a ticket to the wrong place. No casino there (yet... they just approved gambling last year).

Pretty much nothing is very cheap there around any resort areas. Better in town. About the same as US and US dollar is equivalent to Bermuda dollar.

Hmm, sounds like not much different than some beach area in Florida, assuming view is different. Now I wonder if there are any dangerous areas in the town.

Beware hotel costs in peak season in Bermuda. Easily >$500 per night anywhere you'd actually want to stay.

Nothing is cheap, even during off-season.

Late response, but Bermuda is one of the most expensive places in the world. It's number one industry is big money insurance so there's a ton of wealth on the tiny island. It's amazingly beautiful, but it's not cheap.
