Thanks for sharing.

It may be helpful to add to the thread title, or even the body, that the TV has a 75" screen.

Sony 850 is true 120 Hz, but is edge lit, so blacks won't be as good. Also is IPS in 75". This is head to head with TCL P Series, although that is only in 55". New TCL 6 series will be in 65", but I don't think 75" (correct me if I am wrong peeps).

How does this Vizio M75-E compare to the TCL 75C803?
Seems they each have pros and cons, but the Vizio M75-E may be better than the TCL, for some at least, due to 32 local dimming zones per one thread here?

Sony 850 Pros: 120 Hz for better motion (judder), IPS panel on the 75 inch meaning better viewing angles
Cons: Edge lit, no Dolby Vision, IPS on the 75 inch meaning poorer black levels

TCL Pros: built in Roku, Dolby Vision
Cons: edge lit

Vizio Pros: FALD, Dolby Vision
Cons: no tuner, 60 Hz for judder

Decent TV.

Wish Vizio made larger sizes in the M and P lines.

The Vizio M will outperfom the TCL C803 in every area except gaming.

Im also between the TCL and Vizio m. I don't do gaming. 80% movies 20% TV shows. Looks like rtings.com has vizio rated higher for movies. When i look at the vizio at costco the picture does not look good at all compared to all of the other tvs. Also i do not like the look of the vizio. The e series looks better. I cannot speak for the TCL as i cant find a floor display anywhere.

Honestly? You're likely looking at the wrong TV. M series directly next to an E is clearly better. It likely has to do with glare and the lighting in the warehouse vs the tv. Remember, the tv is setup completely different in Costco than it would be in your house.

Sorry, what I meant to say is that the design/look of the E while off looks better in my opinion. In other words, I don't like the look of the TV as a decoration item. Sounds dumb but its true.

Keep refreshing, I just ordered one yesterday. It may also be available in your local store, but delivery is not free.
