KDX43720E $350 [shopmyexchange.com]

KDX49720E -$450 [shopmyexchange.com]

KDX55720E - $499 [shopmyexchange.com]

I got the 49 inch model. Pretty amazing. I do use it as a huge computer monitor at times and I'm pretty blown away. It feels like a computer monitor, just bigger. Text is crisp, can't see pixels even when I'm only 4 feet away. I don't see any input lag at all in games.

43 inch might be the best deal though, but I think the 49 inch at 3-4 feet away is mind blowing. Coming from a 27 inch asus 1080p monitor. Gaming on this thing is crazy. Forget hooking 3 monitors up together one big pc monitor is the best way to go.

I don't see any input lag at all on my 49 inch sony. Text is crisp...viewing angles are second to none...even beats out the "higher end" sony models on viewing angles according to rtings.com. After this I will never go back to a PC monitor Applause

Great for monitor or gaming, not good for movies with poor contrast ratio. I wish Sony hadn't switched to IPS in the 43".

Never seen that low a price either.

I watch movies on it and Netflix or prime shows and it looks excellent. Black levels are not the best but doesn't hinder me from enjoying a movie or show. When the room has more light this tv does better. I'm glad it's ips as it is better quality to use as a monitor. Sony doesn't make pc monitors so they don't care I guess if their 4K tv line takes business away from those that do.

Yeah, Sony's have great motion, which is more important than black levels to me. Luckily my 55" Sony x810C has both good black levels and great motion, just wish the 43" was the same, but I don't use them as a monitor or in bright rooms.

I tried to find last year's Sony 43X800D, which is VA, but they're all pricey now.

I'm really uncertain with going with the Sony 43 inch or the LG 43 inch monitor. I got the 43 inch at Costco for $550 + tax and the 43 inch Sony is $350 total here. The LG monitor has the auto split screen which is really useful, matte finish, and is actually geared as a monitor. With all that said, the difference is $250 for me right now after tax. When the Sony arrives, I'm hoping I'll be OK with the semi-gloss screen and figure something out with the auto splitting setup. My uses is for software development.

Really awesome PC monitor. Unfortunately 3 out 3 separate orders. All screen had either damaged or dead pixel.

1st order had 8, 2nd order had 1 big one and 3rd order 2 .

I just got this in the mail and it has some light spots on the bottom of the screen. Also there is some weird grey white alternating line effects when using with my MacBook Pro that is very noticeable on a page like Google that's all white. Anyone know a fix?

KD49X720E is now $399!

Someone created a post specific to this price, but this is where I first saw the prices on this line of Sony displays, and wanted to pass on the update here.

Thanks OP for posting. I often forget to check www.aafes.com (which is apparently now https://www.shopmyexchange.com/)
