Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter $431 on Amazon, US with Warranty

Cheapest price ever on Amazon, according to camel cubed. The best electric scooter compared to Razor, ETWOW, UScooter, Jetson Breeze and Beam. Much cheaper than other adult, lithium scooters, which list around $1000. Bigger wheels, regenerative and friction brakes.

I paid $350 from GearBest a few months ago, but with $150 shipping, this is a much better deal. This warranty seems more reliable, as well.

My front tire failed, slime didn't help, but replacing it with a solid tire is great! (Microwave the rubber with a little water to soften.)

I literally have this in my cart for the last month and just can't seem to jump... I'm going to wait a little longer

Where do you ride these things? Sidewalks or bike lanes?

For this price you can get an ebike off ebay with free shipping. urlhasbeenblocked is the main brand. I paid 500 (sales taxes were not charged) for a folding mountain ebike. Easy to assemble and very sturdy so far.

A scooter would be awesome because I hate the feeling of leaving my expensive bike chained up.

Yeah, it dropped to this price 2 days ago. I have it on my Amazon wish list. Here in NYC, you would ride them in the bike lanes on the road.

Just use both, I've stopped worrying about it.

Lots of complaints related to exaggerated range, poor QA on certain parts, heavier than expected weight and portability in Amazon reviews. I'd be cautious on this. If anyone has alternatives I'm all ears, I've been watching for price drops on this model for over a year now.

OP, because you have the scooter yourself, I would appreciate y your feedback on this question: how well does the scooter perform on inclines? I've seen differing opinions in the reviews and would be curious how you feel about it.

Agreed. And it struggles even with a 170lb rider on mild inclines - from what I read. Passing.

I've also had the Razor 300 scooter in my cart for $169 with the extended warranty for around $10 but it does not fold...

I've been curious about using an electric scooter for about a 1-1.5 mile commute to the train stop or grocery store. Debating between Razor E300, Segway scooter, Segway miniPro/lite, etc. Don't want to spent more than $350 or so (I'm guessing it would be more of a toy than a serious commute item).

Stay away from this. Google replacement flat tire on these. It's a PITA to replace.

I have a fastwheel f0 that I use in manhattan, its about 20 pds and folds up. goes about 4.5 miles on a charge, about 16 mph, but i have to say its great on inclines. Im 200 pds and 6 ft. I carry a 20 pd backpack. Folds up and I take it on the LIRR. Bought it off ebay for 299. The battery can be swapped very easily. Problem is the wheels are pretty small, and I hit a bad pothole on 36th and 8th. Flipped over the handle bars and banged up my knee pretty good. Have to be really careful in Manhattan with pedestrians, cars and especially potholes. I liked it so much I bought another, as the first one broke in the fall.
