The 65" is also $500 off at $2997. This is for the brand new 2018 version. Based on 2017 price drops, usually you don't see major discounts off of MSRP until the summer time (June/July). So $500 off is a really good deal.

BTW- LG shows that Abt is an authorized reseller too.

Improvements over 2017 on paper are the new A9 processor which provides better motion and video processing versus the 2017 models, Black Frame Insertion primarily for 24hz material like movies, support for a feature called Logo Luminance Adjust to help prevent Burn in with static content, 3D Lut support which allows for direct calibration of the TV along with AutoCAL support for automated calibration but this requires a lot of equipment, along with an improved HDR Game mode. Initial reviews on avsforum say this TV is better than the 2017 with regard to uniformity, color, HDR mode and motion. There is also a different pixel structure in the 2018 models which supposedly will help reduce burn-in (the red pixel is 100% larger than last year's model).

Compared to the 2017 models, the price is roughly $900 more for the 65" version (versus the street price of about $2095 for the OLED65C7P) and $500 or so more than the 55" version about? (street price of roughly $1500 for the OLED55C7P although I know on eBay it was as low as $1300 at one point after the 20% off coupon). So perhaps not a deal if you don't care about any of the new features - but for this specific model, it is a good deal right now imho.

Might not be a big market for it - but there is also a 77" Model available at $1002 off MSRP:

Probably one of the cheapest 77" OLED TVs you can get right now.
