They don't make native 240hz panels, with the exception of a few gaming monitors, and I'm not sure if that's even a real refresh rate.

Also this is faux 4K, as LG used RGBW pixel structure.

How does this amaze you? Its human instinct to compare. We compare everything, all the time. If you dont like what I wrote then just ignore it and move on with your life.

When a person is dumping a significant amount of money into something, they generally try to get the best they can in a price range. Don't be obtuse...

For a 4K TV, how much does 60Hz Native refresh rate matter compared to 120Hz Native refresh rate?

I've read about it multiple articles, but kinda want real-life Slickdeals members' input.

I most likely will be purchasing a 75"+ TV this year.

Thank you,
Tofu Vic

They claim 120hz is better for sports or anything with quick change of direction. I actually still have native 240hz panel and now native 120hz hanging and I can't really see any difference. I imagine it's ymmv as it will depend on how much sports you're watching

I mean this seems like a real good price for 75" but then i always wonder well is 120hz, hdr, and oled worth 2x or more cost?

Even like oleds ive seen in person, unless you sit it right next to a non oled, its hard to really say omg this is worth an additional $2k

Looking for a 80+ size any good options?
I've had my eye on the 82" Samsung mu8000. No deals right now, but as late as Saturday could be had for $2750.

The 75UJ657A was avail yesterday for $1,199 w/free s/h ($1,298 w/tax) via BJ's and was posted here on Slickdeals, which I snagged. (see screenshot below)

Is this 75UJ6470 a better or worse model? Can't fund much online to compare them.

Wondering if I should cancel my order and get this one...thoughts anyone?

All broadcast tv is shot in 60hz so it will be the same. Where 120 really shines is movies shot in 24 since both 24 & 60 are divisible by 120 there is no judder. The other advantages of 120 don't come into play unless you activate motion smoothness features, which depending on brand can be hit or miss and some will create an annoying 'soap opera effect'

You got a much better deal, and actually I almost bought it to but it expired by the time I got home on sunday.

Here are the two spec sheets, they are exactly the same except that the 657A includes the magic remote:

How does this compare to the Vizio M75? I'm looking at that one from Costco $1500 or the Vizio P65 for $1100 or this one. Viewing distance is 11-12ft. Trying to work out which is the best tv to get.
