Made of steel, so could rust in a few years. I'm holding out for a deal on an aluminum frame set. Thanks for posting OP.

Agreed, I've been holding out for a while. I keep getting tempted by sets like this. Hoping that HD has more sets when their Spring Black Friday kicks off later this week.

For any steel furniture esp outdoor a nice coat of rustoleum is all you need and will do wonders - improves the longevity substantially. Yes a bit more work but worth it IMO.

This is steel, it will eventually rust. Plus way heavier than it needs to be. Would recommend getting something in aluminum which is lighter and won't rust.

Good call, I have been thinking about going that route. I see a lot of sets advertise the powder coating that combats rust, but never know how effective that stuff is.

Don't do it - rustoleum just bandaids the issue for a while and at some point you'll get a big purge of rustwater on your patio.

Hold out for aluminum. I've been waiting forever for a decently priced set... probably can't find a deal because these POS steel sets keep going for super cheap and manufacturers know most consumers are dumb enough to keep buying sets that will be garbage in a couple years. Rinse & repeat.

I've been holding out for the better part of 2 years it seems. End of season, beginning of season, out of season, you're right.. they seem to only discount the cheaper steel sets and keep the nicer aluminum ones as they normally are. I'll keep waiting..

Almost bought this last year from HD. Read the reviews and changed my mind. It does look nice, though. I would agree that aluminum outdoor furniture is the way to go, but finding it at a good price point is not easy.

Same for me...waiting on something aluminum. The reviews don't look great either. But a thumbs up for patio deal posting.

Steel? Will rust and look old? Fall River name is fitting.

Most people are giving bad reviews after 2-3 years of usage....What do you expect?

That's a $7/month outdoor patio set and after 3 years people are complaining.
Every patio set needs to cared for, be it drying up chairs after rain, covering it up during bad weather, removing pillows before rain, etc......
They sell used ones like this on FB and C-list for $200 or more in rough shape....and this thing is new.

If I had the room for it I would buy it.
