Curious why all the blower talk when this is for the trimmer and hedge clipper? Anyone have experience with these and not the blower?

Have this blower with 9.0 battery. Works like a champ. Easily will blow at full power for 30min+

Seems to only be for the trimmer and hedge trimmer. Trimmer + blower is still $448

All of these battery based blowers stink. The exception is the eGo blower. If it goes back on sale for $100... jump.
Yeah I actually bought the blower a few weeks ago and returned it after a day. Agree the batteries cannot keep up. I don't want to start another platform so I'm on the lookout for a gas blower

I'd consider getting the Milwaukee blower again if it was bundled, for blowing out my garage/driveway, etc. Definitely no good in the yard though.

Ditto. The ego blower is awesome. Its best to have 2 or 3 batteries or one of their large size batteries. I have 3 of the 2 amp and can clear leaves in the fall non-stop. I thought of going gas but its so nice not to have another engine to tend to, the ego is always ready.

... 5 posts in a row that have nothing to do with this deal (the blower is not included...).. cmon guys.

As for this deal, this is fairly smoking ... the individual tools sell for $150 each in the secondary market, and you also get a rapid charger plus 9.0 ah battery worth $120 or so... Reviews of the string trimmer and hedge trimmers are both generally positive.

Taxed and free shipped to my door in 2 days it's $320.... and I can sell the sucky Greenworks stuff I currently have on hand which means I'm finally down to a single battery platform for all of my cordless wood, metal and yardwork tools. Score!

Do you think the blower would work better with the 9.0 battery included in this kit? That's a sizable battery

Which battery did you test this with? I don't think Milwaukee recommends anything but the 9.0 AH battery for these OPE category tools.

Also, there are *3* Milwaukee blower models, the crappy brushed 100 CFM compact blower (0084-20) that is stuck back with the other tools, and and the full size Fuel blower (2724-20, gen 2 or 2728-20, gen 1) over in the lawn department that pushes 450 CFM. If you picked it up at Home Depot, the small/crappy blower is $80 while the big boys are $150 for the bare tools.

The older 2728 model has over 530 reviews with 91% recommending it to others and a 4.5 out of 5 average score, which is pretty solid... The 2724 "gen 2" Fuel blower version was released right before Christmas but reduces weight by a pound, adds a variable speed control and blows 10 mph faster than the original... otherwise it looks pretty similar in size/design.

I would not be surprised to see the original Fuel "1.0" blower 2728 go clearance to make room for the new model fairly soon.

The blower is alright for my parents to blow off their driveway. Wish I could get the string trimmer and battery for $199. I don't need the hedge trimmer.

The hedge trimmer sells for $150-$170 shipped on eBay regularly... if you got $120 on Craigslist for the brand new tool you'd be right there.

Yea, that's been my experience as well. I wonder if the people complaining have only used the older model and/or smaller batteries than the 9.0

Went through same thing. The Hitachi Tanaka is the best bang for the buck out there in handheld gas blowers. . Mine is stronger than a lot of consumer grade backpack blowers you find, and is very easy to start and dependable.

I used it with a 9.0. I got about 25 mins on a full charge. Just for fun I ran it with a XC 3.0 when the 9.0 was charging...5 mins lol.

Took it back because the performance was not any better than our $40 black and decker corded model and the runtime is not anywhere near enough for my size yard. I just need a gasser for my situation.
