Both Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DZ6R9GE and B&H Photo https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...power.html have the EVGA 500 Watt B1 80+ Bronze power supply ( 100-B1-0500-KR ) for $29.99.

B&H Photo's deal ends April 5 -- the catch is they are closed this week for Passover and they won't ship out until next week. Amazon price matched B&H's deal this morning.

Thanks, got a few. Used them a lot and had no issues. They power up everything up to GTX 1080 and any CPU sets just fine.

I can +1 this as well. This has powered my 4790k and 1070 without flaw for awhile now, and GPUs even before that.

Grabbed a higher Watts version (600B) of it from Walmart 9 months ago, leaves plenty of space for 6700K+1070 without any flows.

Outdated? Was there a breakthrough in PSU manufacturing recently? A switch to nuclear or hydrogen-powered PSU internals that I don't know of? I may call outdated PSUs that were made prior to total-80+ must-have era, but not this one. I will take what you call "outdated" 80+ Bronze and RELIABLE PSU over super duper modern untested one with fancy modular design. Who needs a modular 500W anyway? Aren't you connecting all the cables anyway? It does not come with much and even if one molex lead will be unused it's all you have to hide.

I've used a few of these in different builds. Ive paired them with GTX 970's and 980's no problem. This little cheap PSu works great.
