Just bought this a week ago...time to do a price protection claim.

By the way, it is an awesome miter saw. We are using it for wainscoting and crown molding. Feels and performs much better than I expected. I did switch out the stock blade to a diablo blade recently and now the cutting is even smoother.

I bought this a year or so ago in a pinch, and have used and abused the heck out of it... I've been very impressed, and no complaints, especially for the price. I'd buy again without hesitation, and doubly so for this price.

There is also an adjustable stop that can be used if you don't want to cut all the way through such as when cutting a dado or groove.

I'm quite certain it does not offer that functionality...I use my table saw for that.

edit: but, maybe I'm wrong... I'll try to look at it later to verify

Thanks OP. Looks like a nice miter saw. I was considering getting the Hitachi c10fcg miter saw at Lowe's for 99 dollars, but lacks the sliding feature.

Any HD coupons to make this deal slicker?

Hitachi Has the five year warranty and can be had w a cpn, $85 ..if taxes are 5.3. So, decisions...

The ryobi is cheap for a slider..is it beveled vs double beveled?
