First post here so go easy Smilie Best Buy has this back on sale for $44.99. With GCU it is $35.99 but when you select free shipping and then switch to in-store pickup at the end of checkout it goes down to $34.99.

Or just pay $30 for gcu and enjoy these amazing discounts for the next 2 years. No brainer.
It's not that cut and dry for everyone. I don't have a Nintendo Switch (yet) and I would give GCU strong consideration if I did, but I've been building my 3DS library over the past couple of years and I found that there wasn't enough benefit in this case for it to be worth it personally. To me GCU only made sense if stacked with enough of Best Buy's own sales because otherwise you are essentially paying full price on the first $150 worth of new game purchases (the 20% savings is going towards recouping the membership cost) and I always seemed to manage to find the games I wanted on good sales/deals elsewhere (Target's B2G1 free promos helped) without the need for any sort of membership fee. So in summary, GCU doesn't necessarily always make sense for everyone.

I bought a Switch just to play this game and it is very much worth it, even at full price. It is definitely worth playing.

Yes and no. If ones gonna spend $ on many video games over the course of 2 years ONLY, then yes GCU is worth it. It will quickly pay for itself. Otherwise, no. Simply as that.

Target's deal i.e. Buy 1 get 1 promotion don't come around very often. And even if it does, they often have successfully inflated their price to make it a "teeny weeny" saving on SOME items including video games; not all so it goes both way.

Think about it: you're admitting that you are on the site so much that you got a deal in a 10 minute window

I'd jump on this if I could transfer my WiiU progress to the switch. But I'm too invested in it at this point. Plus I'd rather not buy the DLC again.
