I think you got the inverter (in terms or generator ) wrong.

Super tempting, just curious how big of a turd these really are considering a comparable Honda as 8x the price.

5,000 rpm ? How noist is -56db . Seemslike it would be very noisy and wear out fast.

100% incorrect.
rpm does not mean noise. This is Inverter Generator, which means much quieter.
Traditional one has to run at 3600rpm all the time, if we used it in US (60hz). The inverter one basically use ac to dc, then to ac again. They can adjust their speed.
FYI, honda use 4300-5000 rpm also for their inverter generator.
