Home Depot is having a spring, Black Friday sale. This is the lowest price I've seen for this bundle.

Also the regular ecobee 3 lite for $144, although it's the same price on Amazon with free one-day shipping for Prime members and possibly no tax.

EDIT: Didn't mean to confuse anyone here. It appears Ecobee Lite also supports room sensor from a recent firmware upgrade that I didn't know about.

ORIGINAL POST: Am I missing anything here? As far as I know Ecobee Lite doesn't work with room sensors.

I pulled the trigger on this before I saw the post about Costco. I'm not a member of Costco so can someone please help me and confirm the price before I cancel my HD order please?

It does, but not from day 1 of launch.

I read this 198 price as matching 180 Costco price plus 10% non member surcharge. Of course Costco one is 3 sensors. It's a good chance to jump on to Costco for those on the fence and want to buy this ecobee with that many sensors.

Good deal. To avoid disappointment you must get the ecobeewrap ,3rd party app. Or you will have a super lagfest with the original app. I love the app and it makes the ecobee 💯% more responsive

The older versions of the official ecobee had the lag issue, but the latest (6.1.1) seems to have eliminated it (finally). It also fixes some serious bugs that were introduced in version 6.0 (their dumb "spring cleaning" update, which caused the app to forget about registered devices, would show a blank screen after login, or would simply crash repeatedly). However, after updating to 6.1.1 the app seems pretty solid now.

The ecobeewrap app is free, you should really try it, but you're correct, appears ecobee fixed their app. But I got so used to using wrap, I really don't use the original app at all.

Is ecobee wrap only available for Android? I searched for it in the iOS App Store but couldn't find it. Their website seems to only list Amazon and Google Play. I wanted to try it on my iPhone.

Sorry guy, didn't realize, but you're correct. Only on Android. Although the original app has gotten much better
