Anyone ever put a 60" fan in their bedrooms? Too big?

Evidently the light kit on this light is quite bright. One person said too bright although it dims they may not have know keeping down the button dims it.

Not a bad price at all with remote control and 60" is nice.

Yes I love it. Low speed makes no noise at all. Why I went that large. It has four speeds and I paid less than half this much for it on clearance. It does not dim that would have been nice.

This isn't low profile right? Too long for an 8ft living room height?

In the manual it shows that you can install without the down rod for ceilings less than 8ft — with downrod results in fan 12 inches from the ceiling and without it's 9 inches.
I'm considering it for our bedroom (also 8ft ceilings), but not crazy about the integrated LED light, I believe it's not replaceable.

Unless it hits the walls, it's not too big

We have this fan in our (16×20) living room. So far happy with the air we get from the fan. It has 3 speed levels and operates with remote. Didn't use the dim functionality yet. The LED is sufficient if we want the room not so bright.
