I would've considered if there wasn't any of that gift card nonsense and the price of the product reflected the discount.

Actually you are looking at it all wrong. The dell gift card IS the best deal

What you do is get this deal. Then, within 3 months, if the price is lower you do CC PP and save a fortune.

Eg Pay $550 inc tax for this and get a $200 GC. PP to costco and you would have got it for $550-$120= $430. Thats $430 for a the monitor and a $200 Dell GC compared to $418 from costco (using 10% sales tax rate- but you get the idea)

thats how I got my Samsung 65 KS8000 for $350

I got this deal from Costco:

No gift card nonsense... but to each their own... maybe you can actually use the $200 gift card before it expires.

Kinda like buying a $200 Dell gift card for $100 (compared to $400 at Costco) seems like a good deal to me, in for 1 at Dell.com.

This and then price protect to Costco (if it goes through) would be awesome.

Something to be aware of--Nvidia + Windows + HDR is really buggy right now. You're lucky if it works out of the box. You're lucky if it works.

Does this have any sort of split screen or picture in picture options to have two inputs displayed at once? If anybody knows of a 1440p+, ~27", VESA mountable, acceptable refresh rate and response time, that does, please let me know! Been looking for a monitor or two to replace my old crappy dell TNs. I'm used to the productivity of two, so split screen or picture in picture of a second device or the device acting like it's a second output is critical.

Wow. This is genius. Which credit card is the best? Discover? Citi?

Also, is this monitor good for gaming?
