——-Amazon Product Specs say——-

Note: Connect to a 15W or higher QC2.0 / QC3.0 adapter for fast charge. this QI Charger will not charge through metal cases or cases thicker than 3 mm
Compatible with All Qi-Enabled Phones: Includes iPhone X, iPhone 8, 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus; non-Qi enabled phones are still compatible but will require a Qi wireless charging cover to power up
Fast Charge Qi Devices: 7.5W wireless charging for iPhone X, 8 Plus, and 8 is enabled in iOS 11.2 or later for fast charging. 10W output for all Qi Fast Charge devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S8 / S7; or conventional 5W for Qi-enabled, non-Fast Charge devices

———

Where do I get a 15W or higher adapter? The typical iphone adapter is 5W. The Ipad (larger) adapter is 12W. I bet once you get the adapter with 15w to really make this product work... it wont be a SD anymore.

For this.., I am OUT!

Quick check list on what to look for in a charger:
  • Toggle and/or subtle lights
  • Wall charger preferred (if not, the price should reflect the cost of you having to buy one separate) *1
  • Dual band charging
1 - Look for coupons on the product page, sometimes they sell the charger separately but at a discount if you buy the pad itself. Calculate in total after the discount and compare that way to others that include everything you need.

Look out for:
  • Gimmicks. There are a lot of chargers that have certain gimmicks going on that claim significantly faster speeds, etc.. most of the time you're throwing your money out the window. You need to stay focused on the basics like what's listed above. Most of these chargers even though they can look very different actually come from the same few factories in China so the inner parts on most are the same, it's just the outer appearance that changes.. just like security cameras from off brands you see at Sams Club or Amazon.
  • When you do charge, make sure not to let it charge 100%, because then you're producing overcharge. Likewise, dont let your device drop too low.. like 20% or around there is a good time to start charging. I aim for 98% - 24%, my own personal preference - not scientific but it is based heavily on scientific recommendations that're right at those percentages.
  • Shape is important too. I much more prefer the stands. I own a Note 8 that's very large (hehe and yes im totally compensating for a lack of something else) that works just fine on a stand charger. The primary reason I buy a stand is so the charger doesn't accidentally become a cup coaster.

No.Bro, please read the descriptions first. It's not fit for iphone 6 and iphone 7, only fit for 8,8 plus, X and future models.

I recently bought this one and love it. Charges two phones at once and comes with the power cord. Paid $16.45 (I think there was a $2.00 off coupon) although the price showing now is $18.45.
