While this is MSRP, the SNES has been hard to find in stores which makes this a great time to pick one up without paying extra from 3rd Party sellers elsewhere. -slickdewmaster

Speak for yourself

I've been playing NES Baseball Stars for 29 years. WWE No Mercy for 19.

Great games remain great games

But I wouldn't buy the NES or SNES classic, I bought a Super Retro Cade, and it's awesome

is it worth getting if I already have the NES Classic hacked to play everything? The best buy is 2 mins walk from me, so thinking of picking it up.
If you are a collector, yes.

If you modded the NES Classic then you really don't need the SNES Classic.

Like most people who own this console, they had bought it, played for a bit of while, and then put it away. Reason is because the "nostalgia effect" has wore off.

Or Gameboy Classic!! And here why it MAY happens!

1) Portable and size = high value of ownership
2) Built in backlight = more appeal
3) AAA batteries = nostalgia value
4) Colors choice
5) perfect to play for a bit of time especially for full time working adults! 3DS nor Switch are not relevant!
6) multiple # of games in 1 cartridge!!

Of course that just my childhood wish! 😅

Well my thing is, I'm not going to play through every game at once. But I've beaten Super Mario World, Turtles in Time (hacked), Aladdin (hacked) and a few others. I haven't played it in a few months but when I need my Super Nintendo fix again, which will happen, It'll be there waiting for me.

Super Metroid and Yoshi's Island are two of my favorite games ever but I had played them within the last couple of years anyway. I'll definitely play them again and this will be the way I do it instead of the 3DS.
