Why do you say it's a price mistake? It's just a small discount off the regular price.

This is definitely a PM, these are around $4.99 each. It's a 12oz bottle, this is a huge PM. Nice find OP

This price is pretty common with if you have a preferred business account with most distributors.

Sams club sells for 4.99 each, if you're lucky and buy bulk of around 1000 units you might be able to get each for $2-3. So it's still not as good as this price. You could prove me wrong by showing me a screenshot of your price w tax and shipping of $1.27 each.

All of the Dollar Tree stores in my area sell hand sanitizer. Not sure how many ounces are in their largest bottle, but it's around the same size for a dollar. They also sell a 3-pack of the miniature bottles (also $1) which are good for keeping in the glove box & what not. I've used both brands and I can honestly say there is no noticeable difference between them.

Heh.

The un-noticeable difference would be whether they kill the same amount of viruses and bacteria

That's why I only buy Purell.

Ok, I wonder if there's actually any difference in effectiveness between Dollar Tree's brand and this. The active ingredient for both is Ethyl Alcohol (70% by volume). From what I understand, alcohol is alcohol and germs don't like alcohol...

I can't answer that question, but this is a fantastic read:

Oh another huge difference is regular Purell and the generics Ethyl Alchol is a by-product of petroleum. Purell naturals though is plant based Ethyl Alcohol: https://www.purell.com/naturals-qa/
