Has TN panel not IPS just a heads up. also has 50/50 split on reviews from Amazon, PCmag, Dell and a few other websites so make sure you do some research before pulling the trigger. cheers!

Could depend on your use case. When I was in a college dorm, people's pc monitor also doubled as their "tv" to watch YouTube and movies when their friends come over. And some people getting a 28" could have this use case in mind. With a bad viewing angle, this won't be ideal.

I have this monitor. Got it earlier this year. No complaints. The viewing angles are a little narrow but for PC use it's not an issue. Sharp text and good colors and brightness.

Viewing angles don't matter as much on a computer monitor where you alone are viewing it straight on. IPS is better for this but typically more expensive.

Viewing angles are really bad, TN panel. Better to buy 2560x1440 IPS or VA panel for this price.

I bought 2 of these. I'm a graphic designer and for the price you can't beat if for colors and sharpness. However, I did have to send one back after 1/2 year for crapping out. I honestly expected a nightmare from what I heard about Dell's customer service but they over-nighted a replacement and I got it the next evening. Can't complain at all

I bought this monitor new from Adorama a month ago for $240 and I was torn between this one and the 4K 27" LG IPS at Costco which at the time was at $270 before tax. If you're using it at weird angles you might notice it's not an IPS, however it sits right in front of me where I mostly do spreadsheet work with occasional Netflix distraction. I chose response time over color accuracy and wide angle viewing for the simple reason I don't do photo/video/design work and would save $50. Think about what you'll be using it for instead of what checks all the marketing boxes. Oh and the audio is better than expected for monitor speakers.

I bought an LG 4k 27" IPS recently for $280.

IPS has better image and colors usually, while TN has a better response time, which is better for games etc.
