some laptops can only use m.2 SATA (like my lenovo for example....) not every machine comes equiped with nvme m.2 slots

Because you can get twice the space for the same price and 99% of people can't tell the difference in speeds. At this price, I can get an M.2 WD Blue 3d Nand or an MX300 at around 500gb. A 960 Evo or WD Black 250gb goes for twice as much for the same storage.

After reading reviews it comes with access for Arconis True Image that only works on Crucial drives.

Oh yea I forgot about laptops. I'm building a new desktop so I'm in desktop mindset
For me it would be for cable management, one or two less cables poking around. Im already terrible with cable management so every bit helps.

It was still active this weekend but it seems to be on random stuff. I checked several things and they didn't have it. A vacuum cleaner was the only other thing I saw with it. If u look at the used selection it will tell u if it qualifies for the 20%

Still active. I just bought another one. Said 6 left. $158.53 minus 20%. Oh it is the older model though if anyone cares about that

In for one of these 20% off warehouse deals WD Black 512 GB m.2 ssds. I saw two left in stock so it was a buy now, think later choice. Is this actually as good a deal as it seems?
