I bought this shredder last week and of course it goes on sale today for what appears to be the first time in 5 years (normally $99.99).

I've had one of these since 3/2014 and still looks/works like new. Well worth the $99 I paid, 25% off is even better. Great micro shredder!

The gear in my 15 year old Followers just went out. It a tiny little piece of nylon. Not sure where to buy a replacement. Considering asking an electronics recycling place for a few shredders, for the part.
Nice to see shredders at the same price that I paid years ago.

FYI
If you are a real SDer
I recommend purchasing a new microcut paper shredder
From EBAY when they have a promotion

I bought a new Aurora brand last year and have a property Mgmt company (so this gets heavy use) and got it for only $50

Anyone know a deal for one with a larger capacity bin? (This one is 6.7 gallons.)

Not really sure how this became a front page item. I guess if you really need to shred 12 pages at a time this is the price you pay. I just bought the 6 sheet shredder for $29. (Actually ordered the 8 sheet for $35 but they sent me the 6 sheet on accident)

Another great option if you need a little more capacity/volume, but don't need micro cut and can live with cross-cut (although not a deal right now available) is the AmazonBasics 15-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper/ CD/ Credit Card Shredder. Great capacity and has 20 minute continuous run time. I use regularly and works to perfection. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...PDKIKX0DER

Yeah not bad, but still $25 more. shake head

In for the $75 model. Smilie Thanks OP!

I just can't take the ancient staples model I have anymore, where you need to pick the top off every time to empty it, and it fills up in like 2 minutes. vomit
