Do not buy. Had mine for a month. I treat them like they're made of glass and they broke. The yokes are very weak plastic. They didn't snap. They literally fell apart and dropped off my head. Support says metal yokes will cost $50. Screw this.

This is confusing. Makes it sound like they are $50

The title is correct but the price lists $79 - which would be a crazy deal.

Yea I almost strained a finger trying to click on this for $79. At $179, it is a decent deal and kind of the normal price these day.

The Bass on these is supposedly better than the MD ones. I've also heard there were QC issues on the MD ones... all though it's possible that they would be fixed on the next batch if there is another drop. I'd imagine these are easier to return if there is an issue.

Yeah, durability is so bad on these phones which is a shame cause I think they sounds very good.

Mirrors my exact experience minus trying to deal with support. They broke from within 30 days of when I ordered them in early February. Luckily I was within the return window. Had 3 cracks within 30 days and back they went to buydig. People say there may be a bad batch but from what I've seen this has been fairly common even from other stores going back as far as mid last year.

Same thing here. I have tried three pairs of these, all with different issues. Two had headband issues (strap issue and headband slider) and one where the yoke just broke. I am almost to the point of giving up on Hifiman. I just wish they would spend the extra $3 in material costs since these are very good sounding headphones for the price.
