To counterbalance the negative comments I've read here, I have three zinus products; a 12" green tea mattress, a 10" spa sensations mattress, and a zinus tufted bed frame.

I'm tremendously satisfied with both the products and the service. The green tea mattress and the tufted bed frame were both received within a few days of the order. In the case of the spa sensations mattress, there was a slight delay but they included a sleep mask as compensation.

The mattresses are the best I've ever slept on. They put my Serta mattresses to shame, and cost 1/10th as much.

No, I'm not a paid troll.

I bought a 18inch off floor Zinus Premium folding frame about 6 months ago. I did buy the deluxe version on Amazon which has the extra bars for additional support and in all it was around $100.
We are around 350 lbs together and have about 50 lbs of cats who like to sleep up there to. Never a squeak or sag. NO NOISE. No movement( of the frame itself ). It is wonderful.

I have my mattress directly on frame, no spring box but I am considering getting one anyway, mostly for a few more inches height and better coil support. My only complaint is the frame is a inch or two bigger than the mattress is and that the mattress slides a bit on it.
Very solid, very quiet.

Wish this applied to their 4" box spring, but still a good deal for anyone that needs a normal sized box spring.

Can I use this with a memory foam? Not sure if the divets in the bed frame makes a difference.

It's no different than putting it on a bed frame with wooden slats built-in.

Anyone have any experience with this? I've been holding off on ordering a new mattress because those folding metal frames look like they'd squeak like crazy in time. This looks a little better but some negative Amazon reviews have me scared to pull the trigger. Any other recommendations for a reasonably priced quality platform for a king sized foam mattress?

Metal frame from purple. I think it's guaranteed to never squeak. I think. I have it. Hasn't squeaked yet. Have had it about a year. My wife didn't like the mattress so we have a king size foam one on it.

The folding metal frame we bought (Mainstays) started squeaking after 6 months. Don't go cheap on the folding metal frames.
