This comparison chart at AeroGarden explains the difference between the various models. A handful of customer reviews at Home Depot give this model 4.8 out of 5 stars. -qwikwit

5 colors available. The purple model is $1 cheaper.

Holds 6 pods but also comes with a seed starter system. I think this is a better value than Amazon's deal today.

FYI, yesterdays' Amazon deal for the Ultra has expired.
I went to Aerogarden.com and did an online chat with a person who was really helpful. She said of all the deals (Amazon for the Ultra, Walmart for the Harvest Touch, Home depot for the Classic) she would recommend the Walmart deal for the Harvest Touch.
She said the Touch is their newest product line and the Walmart deal is better than Aerogarden.com's current sale.
On Aerogarden.com, the Harvest Touch is on sale for $129.99 and it also includes the bonus seed starting tray and free shipping. However, you can choose what seed pod kit you want, where Walmart's deal includes the herb seed pod kit.
Aerogarden.com does charge additional sales tax.
I purchased the purple Harvest Touch through Walmart because it was $1 cheaper than the other color choices. woot
Here are some videos from Aerogarden on the Harvest Touch.

The one in the Amazon deal is the Ultra, this deal is for the Harvest Touch. The Ultra has 30W LED vs 20W on this one and can be extended taller for taller plants. ultra also has 7 pod spaces vs 6 on the Harvest. I just ordered the Harvest Touch since I'll only be growing smaller herbs in mine and liked the seed starter kit that is a bonus item.

Is the only difference with amazon deal is 6 vs 7 pods?

Here's a video of QVC on this unit, check it out, they specifically grow lettuce in one of the Harvests.

As long as it's not the iceberg kind that is a big ball. Romaine, butter, and other leafy kinds are fine. I've done butter in the past as well as a few other leafy kinds.

I have the Harvest WiFi and currently have kale, parsley, and a cayene pepper plant growing great. I'm having to eat a couple of leaves off the kale every day just to keep it from hogging the light, but easily have enough for a couple of salads just from the one pod. Having to refill the water almost every day though because of how fast everything is growing.

Might be a better value, but your thread doesn't include a seven paragraph discourse on all the things cannabis can do for us, so no tu, sorry.
Are these any good for growing pot lol? This one or the one on Amazon?

The seed starting accessory makes this a pretty slick deal. The seed start tray for the ultra goes for $30 on Amazon.

Sounds like the consensus is this is a better deal than the Amazon one posted earlier. However, how does it compare with the one below from Home Depot? Currently on sale for $89.99 so $10 cheaper and includes a starter kit. Just unsure which model is better.

Thank you for the help!

EDIT: Found this comparison chart, looks to be pretty comparable.

Huh, I would've done the ultra in a heartbeat if I didn't already have the Harvest. The ultra has a light that's 50% stronger (same life) & can be raised twice as high, and it has more types of trays available for growing specialty things. May not be quite as new of a product line but is capable of more.

Never grown, so wouldn't know, I would guess that they're ideal. Buy one, try it out and send us all samples, so we all know.
