Although this seems to be a good deal, and the genuine product (which is rare online), I will pass and continue to buy in store where i can verify the exp. date and know its the genuine product. These are $3.96 at my local Walmart.

EDIT: I wrongly assumed these were CR3032 batteries, FYI.
Not sure why the TDs. I bought a 6 pack [amazon.com] of Energizer on Amazon. Expiry date two years out and they lasted only 2-3 months in my Ecobee sensors instead of the year that they should.

It could have been a bad batch or improper storage or who knows. Granted, same thing can happen at brick and mortar but at least you can check the expiry date.

Are you referring to the battery type? It's 2016. I believe that size of commonly used in Fitbit pedometers.

If you have a Fry's near you, these are regularly $1.99. Combined with their often run Sunday weekly promo code deal of either 15-20% off energizer coin cell batteries brings it below the S&S price.

Just picked up a 2pk of 2016s for $1.70 (plus tax) yesterday. Made in Indonesia and expire in 2025

FYI. Amazon doesn't rotate their stocks. It could be from 4 years ago and could be expired.

Buying batteries on Amazon is a crap shoot. Just look at the reviews.

Which Fitbit products use a CR2016?
