Small frame size is 16" and, it should fit you well, or you can just return it to closest local Walmart. (^_^);

For a 16" frame size you will be on the "big" size but it should work good for you. Usually a S frame is for 5'3~5'4" up to 5'7"

This is a great deal !!

Do all L/LX frames come with 29" wheels? I'm 6'2 with shoes on but i don't want 29". Prefer 27.5". I do see 27.5 wheels on L frame in store but that frame is only for up to 5.9-6.0'. Bike guy said i can get by with a L frame depending on my preferred seat position. I haven't tried yet. Also do any premium bikes come with grip/twist shifters? They used to be for low end bikes. Now i see them making a come back but still rare.

This model has 26" wheels and trigger shifter. MTB trends went from 26" to 29" to 27.5", but I prefer classic 26" wheel size because it is more responsive and easy to control. I will post detailed specification after I receive the bike.

Just because it's sold by walmart.com doesn't mean is the same crap that you can find on the brick and mortar store. This kind of Mongoose is bike shop grade, that's why it's on the official mongoose site, and the mongoose that are sold on the store are not there, also none of the bikes that you can find on B&M store come with X5/X7 components, XCR with lockout fork, hydraulics brakes, etc...

i wasn't sure thought the standard is 27.5 and large frames come with 29. i think i also would prefer smaller 26 but i don't remember seeing high end bikes with smaller wheels.

Not a bad bike but a step down it appears from the Expert listed in the OP.

Can compare here: http://www.mongoose.com/usa/catal...are/index/

Still not bad for the price. MSRP $699 vs $799 for the OP.
