Enjoy,

Not sure where to put this up to warn the fellow SD members.

The Tech Support forum is the only one that's even closely related. Certainly not Hot Deals.

I think it is because:
  1. Save customers and repair shops the hassle of fixing the screen at this time of 11.3 update.
  2. Build awareness to avoid the update (until Apple fixes it) if the screen is not repaired at an Apple store.
  3. Who will be supporting SD members with this issue if not going to downgrade and repaired at authorized and Apple stores?

...plus, I don't have an iPhone 8, what is my question at that forum? I only try to do good for the community.

Thank you OP! I know several people who have had their phones repaired by "some guy on Craigslist" and I know "some guy on Craigslist" who repairs iPhones. I'll definitely spread the word. TU & Repped.

For sure, thanks for understanding. It is important to know this too because dealing with private repairers seems to be a "hit and miss" kinda thing. I personally have an experience with a bad local repairer, whom did not own up to his work.
