I think he's saying when someone spends $800+ on a monitor they're not looking for budget features like freesync.

Yeah I know, but there are options like Vega64 which is comparable to 1080

Comparable lolz
It is actually on par with a 1080, but not 1080 ti from what I've read. I have a 1080 ti and honestly I've considered selling it and getting a Vega 64 exclusively because of the stupid G-Sync premium on monitors. Freesync is functionally as good as G-sync from about every review I've read and the premium to buy an equivalent G-sync monitor is incredibly high. Yet there is no real benefit to G-sync over Freesync other than working with Nvidia cards. On this particular monitor though 75 hz I would think kills it as a gaming monitor for most gamers. No need to be an Nvidia elitist, especially if you are looking for a better deal.

How does this compare to the Dell 38? I don't game, just code, read sous etc. Wife does a ton of spreadsheet work.
