WD My Passport USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive 2TB at $40 (depending on your tax rate) w/Amex offers

It's obviously not for everyone (requires Amex Card with Google express $20 for $60 offer), but thought it was be a great price for a New, not refurbished as previous deal from WD direct.

WD My Passport 2TB, sold by Fry's on Google Express is $69 (link is for blue, but other colors available, just make sure you select Fry's as seller, others are more expensive)
https://express.google.com/produc...01_6136318

Google Express is currently offering 20% on first order with code SPRING20

This, for me (tax rate 10.25%), brought the price down to $60.86.

I used my Amex card, which had the $20 for $60 at GE Amex offer loaded, so that makes my total out of pocket $40.86.

This deal is great for people in states like mine that charge taxes >8.75% as it makes the discounted price just barely pass the $60 threshold, thus maximizing the Amex offer !!

Might go in and out of stock, depending on colors, but Amex offer still available till Apr 29th. (SPRING20 coupon valid until May 6th).

They must have gotten more in stock because I just bought one. And it looks like they still have more.

i thought it's for pre-tax but i guess you might be right. When i made my purchase before seeing this, I threw in a hard drive case to make it over 60 pre-tax.

Not sure why the thread has been flagged as expired, it is still in a stock in blue, red white and yellow !

Also, Amex offers does not seem to apply on pretax. It's the whole amount charged to the card that they take into account. Received the email telling me I had just used Amex offer as soon as payment went through.

Tax rate does not matter. If F ok r B&M stores GE charges tax based on store location or HQ
