I have owned it for the last 6 or so years and love it. You don't feel the cords inside the blanket at all. It's super soft. I also like that it has a 10 hours auto shut-off.

This is a great price but this is not the super soft version of the blanket. We have this one and the macromink version. The macromink one is more expense but is the supersoft version.

This is the one I have. I paid a lot more for it though. It is super soft. I love that you don't feel the wires on the inside. It feels like a regular soft blanket. I got another as backup in case they stop making it. It's hard to find a nice electric blanket where you don't feel all the hard wires inside the blanket.

I've never seen the micromink one you describe. I bet that is soft too.

This one is very soft and comfy. I've even washed it in the washing machine and it came out fine.

All are like this now, but I don't like it. Let me decide when I want to turn it off. Probably some government regulation because some people are too stupid to turn it off themselves.

I'm in for one, just moved from California to N Idaho and it's cold!
The dual thermostat is nice, will allow my wife to have hers all the way up while I leave my side off.
Lowest price per the camels.

In for 1. I've been looking to buy my first heated blanket for several months. Too bad it isn't the king size that is on sale. Is the entire blanket heated or just a portion of it? I.e. how far in from the edges does the heat start?

Don't use this while pregnant. Look up electric blanket while pregnant and you'll see that the electromagnetic waves for that long of a time right next to your body isn't good for you or baby. If you warm it up and unplug it, then climb into bed, that's great.

Although I don't really agree with the fact that this blanket in particular is bad for you, I cancelled my order. Not worth the risk. The reason I say this blanket is NOT bad for you, is do to the actual blanket running on DC current (18Vdc). Which means the emf produced is steady state, non-polarity reversing. In other words, its like laying on a giant refrigerator magnet. Don't people claim that permanent magnets contain some health benefits?

I hate the bulky wires in the one I use. I put a blanket above it and two sheets under it to protect it so I need not wash it very often at all.

Sounds like I would not need to worry so much about washing this one and it has more temperature settings though mine does the ten hour and preheat which I love.

I sleep in a Queen bed by myself, my wife in the other room I snore loudly this solves that problem. So I put the blanket sideways. Love having the feet on 2 or 3 and the top on low or 2. Just an idea if your legs get cold. You know us older folks.
