Gigabyte GTX 1070 Winforce 8GB - $479 on Amazon

Amazon has the GTX1070 available for purchase right now.

Best online price I've seen for a GTX1070 now that cryptomining has been deemed a pyramid scheme and guys are finding out they are only making a few bucks after all that wasted electricity. Could have bought one but with Volta around the corner this makes no sense to me. Still slick if you need high end gaming right now.

I just picked up the Nvidia 1070 Founders Edition for $399 + tax last month. Hopefully the prices of GPU will continue to droop along with the prices of Ram.

I picked up a GTX1070 for like $350 a year ago then sold it at profit. Also still have my GTX1060 3gb armor that I bought almost a year ago for $130 as well. Sold the 1070 because i didn't game much and the gtx1060 3gb is still amazing for when I do.

I had certainly thought about it, but I heard the prices for GPUs for next gen would be a bit pricey and I am using this card for a Hackintosh/VR build. So I needed to have the Nvidia drivers for OSX installed (which I wasn't certain it would happen for next gen GPU). I'm also thinking about going with the RX580 for better Hackintosh compatibility and those cards are way overpriced, so I just ended up with the 1070. But yeah, I could have waited and held off.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could also go up. Feel bad for those who invested in a ton of gpus though.
