Hey everyone!

This is my first time posting on this site, so I thought I would post this since it came up for me. Final Fantasy XV (Windows Edition) is 33% off on steam! There might be better deals for this game, but I figured I would post this!

Hope you guys enjoy!

Not much time for RPG type games nowadays, but was interested in this for PC, until they announced even more content.

I'll continue holding out until a final version is one day released.

Prob only interested in RPGs for the PC with available mods, playing on a console would let my OCD sink 100s of hours getting every trophy.

Great deal for this version of the game though for folks interested.

EDIT - Last FF games I played we're FFX and FFX2 for PS2, before trophies distracted the game. Bought all three FF games for PS3 wishfuk thinking, I'd play them - still unopened.

Saw the notification from Steam and purchased immediately. Missed all of the other deals so far.

I was thinking I'd wait until the rest of the dlc eventually comes out but that is going to be awhile

I'm ready to jump on this one real soon too. The last FF game I 100%'d was Lightning Returns which was the most fun I've ever had in a Final Fantasy game with its hybrid real-time/turn-base style combat (and single character). I really believe LR redeemed a lot of the bad qualities from XIII minus storyline of course. Many take issue with the time limit to finish the game but I honestly felt it helps move things forward and adds to it's replayability value (something FF has historically lacked).

I just can never go back to the oldschool turn-base combat of the early FF era and wouldn't 100% those unless I was paid for it. Don't get me wrong, they were legendary of their time and I played the crap out of 'em since the early 90s when FF1 came out on NES. I'm just hoping XV has evolved the 'formula' that is comparable to LR.

Does the steam version have Xbox save syncing? Or only the windows store version?

Only if you bought it from Microsoft. Steam isn't linked to xbox

Would not recommend this to anyone with less than 16 gb of ram, a GTX-1070, and an SSD. I coud barely get this game to run on my system with 8 gb and a 1070.

Was interested in buying this till I read about all the DLC they have planned. That pretty much killed any interest I had till they release a complete version.

I played this version of the game and it was amazing.. apparently they did a lot of updates since it was released which fixed both the story and the gameplay. Very fun, and it doesn't feel like thje typical grind RPG.. it felt very organic.

Whatever you do, do not look at the upcoming DLC announcement if you haven't played the game. I haven't started FFXV yet, but i think it spoiled the ending. Biggest spoiler I've ever encountered for an FF game, and hopefully it won't ruin the experience for me. I'm staying offline after FF16 is announced.

I have Lightning Returns, but still haven't played it and XIII-2. Time limits in games often annoy me, but I'm hoping I'll still be able to enjoy it.

You can always play it on GeForce Now instead, that's where I play it. Play it at the highest settings possible.

Your gonna be waiting a long time for a "complete" edition. Since it's slated to get DLC until at least spring of 2019. So don't expect one until at least Holiday season or, more than likely, later.
