First, it is a really good shovel. However, I did break it after extremely heavy use. I used to try and pry up stubborn stumps and roots and one day I just put too much leverage on it and it snapped. Trying to get Fiskars to cover the warranty was a nightmare. In the end, it just wasn't worth it to have it shipped.

If you plan on using a shovel for heavy use AND want a comparable product with a no-questions-asked return policy, the Kobalt one is a great pickup.

Prime has multiple free trial options including a 6month student trial, not to mention they have multiple discounts on prime from amazon mom to students to even low income people with EBT cards can get discounted prime. Also considering most people especially in here shop online many people have prime these days if they ever shop amazon.

I bought this at $30 couple years back and even then it was a good price. You want a real shovel, this is the real deal. No more worrying about broken handles, wood nor fiberglass.
