So my 2 cents is:
It's digital copies, so it costs them nothing to distribute these (royalties/commisions not factored in).

I've bought 1-4 each week, but they are books I probably would not have picked up for my collection. I did not pick them up during the sales when they likely would have been between $1.80 or $2.80-ish.

The ones I've picked up were probably 99 cents in that crazy 99 cent sale (a month ago?), but I didn't pick them up then either. I may never read them, but 99 cents here and there is kind of easy to cough up. Spreading out some 99 cent sales is getting them money from me. (It's not helping them if they are losing money on royalties, I can't speak to that)

So they've gotten $7-$10 from me in the last month that they WOULD NOT have gotten from me if they were more.

So if they keep this up, it could be $80-$100 a year that they would never have gotten from me.

Awesome thanks everyone for sharing these posts. I pick up new digital copies every time. Also great article about Marvel vs Comixology. Personally I think digital comics should only be 99 cents an issue. I buy the hard copies otherwise.

There's a good sale on TMNT comics on Comixology as well. I love the IDW stuff so I'll be buying some of those as well. Thanks for this heads up.

So it looks like this is a weekly thing now. Awesome! I've been working through the Avengers vs Thanos book I picked up in one of the last sales and it's a blast to check out all these Bronze Age stories that came before my time.

The $0.99 prices were up at Comixology on Wednesday, but then taken down on Thursday. I'm guessing it was because of the bad press they've been getting from comic shop owners. Though that doesn't explain why they would leave the sale price up on Amazon, but not Comixology.

Regardless, I highly recommend Deadpool/Spiderman Vol. 5. Great art by Chris Bachalo and a bargain at $0.99.

The spectacular Spider-Man is a great series. The first volume was .99 a couple sales ago. I'd pick up the current volume and stash until the first volume is on sale again.
