Harbor freight 301 piece. Best bang for your buck and no drive bits. About $160 after 20% coupon. I have it and it's great.

I wouldn't really call these "good". I got the smaller set a few months ago and they're pretty darn thin. HF's are probably thicker.

All the cman china stuff so far has let me down... I treasure my USA cman stuff so I don't end up with a HF china equivalent when I warranty

Craftsman is still a step above HF junk.

I am sure there are a few exceptions, but overall it is still true unless HF quality has increased dramatically in the past couple years which I find unlikely.

Maybe not, but craftsman has dropped big time.
I would take Pittsburgh over craftsman

Yup, craftsman is truly bottom of the barrel now...funny thing is their prices haven't changed.

If this set had 187 full size drivers instead of the driving bits, the case would have to be ten times as big.

Honestly I don't see it. If that were true reviews would be horrible for their stuff and it isn't. Everything I get there is good quality and can even be gotten cheaper than HF stuff when you wait for sales and points deals like this.

Got this as a gift and the tools are great but the case is trash. The drawers don't sit level in the case so pulling a drawer out requires lifting it or pulling out all 3.
