Great gaming mouse, only problem is that scroll wheel wears out so fast.

I heard it's not as good for gaming as its original version (that I still use to this day)

Beware: reviews indicate this isn't like the original ones. Recommend reading reviews before buying. As for me, after being a user of the Intellimouse 3.0 for a decade and needing a new one at a time where they were all but gone from the marketplace, I went on an eBay spree and picked up 3 lightly-used originals. These should last me 15 years.

I wish I weren't so dependent on this mouse, but I've tried some others and I can't get used to them.

I always loved the feel of this mouse but heavy gaming use caused me to go through way too many of them when the LMB inevitably failed.

The original intellimouse really was special. I still have one.

Honestly though, my Logitech g602 has been a worthy replacement.

The ONLY mice i like are intellimouse ones, but they have so many versions, there's no way for me to know if this one will feel right. Frown Mine is white and I usually see it costing $60+ on ebay.

I too have the original ie 3 and a steel series special edition as well. Then I moved on to the mx518. And til this date, I cannot find a mouse that is as good as these two.

These mice used to be great, but I've since moved on. Brings back memories though.

I had the original 1.0 and the 3.0, the 3.0 was amazing but I've read these newer ones feel off. Jumped to Logitech years ago and I've stuck to it currently using a g700s for a few years now.
