Warning, on "Sensitive" Toothpaste, when it's on sale like this, watch the expiration date. The shelf life on this stuff is shorter than regular toothpaste, and it turns into a thick caulk like paste (that's damn near impossible to get out of the tube) when it's near the end of it's life. I got some of this exact brand from a warehouse store, and well, it was just me using it, and well, by the time I got to that last tube, it was unusable. When it's hard in that state, even if you get it out, it's lost it's ability to get into the tunnel areas of the tooth it needs to get into. How it works is it enters these tubes and then "blocks" them (like plastering a hole in your wall, except it's potassium based)). If it's old, it's molecules are too big to get into the tubes, and then it does nothing to help.

I usually find it on sale like this when it's old stock, so be warned.

I paid 6.24 for the 3 pack sensitive back in Oct 17, so not a bad deal if you hit the 15% ss

I can't get the coupon to apply. I check the box, but it's not there at the subscription checkout page

The max clean is a better deal, but I will try out the sensitivity one.

Is this actual paste or the gross blue gel?

Sensitivity one is different. It has potassium nitrate in it to desensitize exposed nerves. I have receding gums around two teeth and need this tooth paste. If this weren't the case I'd save my money and get cheaper toothpaste.

Just bought some of the cheapest Sensitivity toothpaste from WalMart and was close to $4/tube.

Does this toothpaste only desensitize your teeth when brushing or is this a lasting effect?

Lasting, supposedly. I have a mildly sensitive to cold tooth and it maybe helps a little bit. Enough to justify the extra cost but not much more, id say.

It contains ingredients such as potassium nitrate or strontium chloride, which block pain signals to the nerve of the tooth by stopping up the tiny tunnels in your teeth, which go to the nerve.
