Verizon Network - Fully Unlimited 4G Data, Talk, and Text Prepaid Plan - $50 monthly w/ autopay - Pageplus MVNO

Just like Verizon's own prepaid Unlimited 4G data plan, the data is "non prioritized". It will slow down during times of network congestion, but It is not throttled in the traditional sense.
For those of us who live in rural areas where Verizon's network is the only acceptable option, this is the cheapest prepaid deal I've heard of with unlimited 4g data. $55 monthly or $50 monthly with autopay.

3 in one sim card switch kit is just 99 cents. Porting my number was quick and easy.

Ok so I know nothing about this. Can this be used for a hot spot (true access point, not hot spot on mobile device)?

I am a long time PPW user. I still have it on my old 3G Moto E, but only as an emergency spare. I drop $10 every 3 months to keep it current and it's fine for my use.

However, PagePlus has gone way downhill since Carlos Slim acquired them several years ago. I'd be cautious about jumping on board until I surveyed others that have had this plan for a while.

Do they optimize video? Verizon does for every customer now unless you pay $10 more to have this feature removed

Does Page Plus allow you to create a WiFi network using your cell data on the unlimited plan to share internet access to a tablet or laptop that's wifi only?

I was with PP for years before having to switch to Cricket/At&t for coverage reasons. Never had a problem with them but ya gotta make sure that Verizon's native coverage works for you. There are some big holes in coverage in certain areas compared to Verizon's Postpaid coverage.

I just did chat with them and they said video is not limited to 480p. He also said they do not support HotSpot. Seems to be the best unlimited plan I can find on a Verizon MVNO as Straight Talk limits video down.

The only Prepaid plan that officially supports hotspot on Verizon's network is Verizon's in-house prepaid unlimited plan. It is $75 monthly. With no autopay discount available and it has tethering limits.

Correct (+rep). And even the $75 plan limits your mobile hotspot to 3G speeds (600kbps).

Sorry but Verizon Prepaid is heavily de-prioritized now and has been for the last year or so.

I don't expect Page Plus to be any better.

In other words, I'm retaining my trusty old gUDP from Verizon for all that fast unlimited 4G data Smilie

I've been on PP for years, more than happy with the price and service. The only bad thing about it is the limited phone selection, phones typically have to be Verizon branded and they cost more than their GSM versions. Currently using a Moto X Pure on PP and have no plans on changing providers. If Verizon coverage is strong in your area don't hesitate to switch.

Very glad I read this. Still grandfathered in on the OG Verizon Nationwide Unlimited Data Plan. Runs me $80 per month, but no throttling on mobile data, whether I use hotspot or not. Burning through ~10GB each month on average, this sounds like it's still the right plan for me.
