Bad price. Garbage tool.

365 reviews on Homedepot.com with a 4.5 star rating say otherwise. As do 91% of over 7,000 reviews on Amazon that give it 4 or 5 stars.

Where is it less?
Amazon reviews are even better than HD.

Anyone know the difference between this and the DWARA100? Sears has the 100 for $17.72 (albeit only store pickup): http://www.sears.com/dewalt-right...904479000P

Camel price history on the 100 also shows Amazon often has it for around $18 or lower, though it is at $21.32 right now.

This is the standard price at Home Depot, though most places seem to sell it higher. I own one and use it regularly. It is a quality tool and much more convenient than most right angle adapters. I've put a reasonable amount of torque in it (including an impact driver) without breakage so it seems pretty sturdy. I think DeWalt got the design right on this tool.

I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_bjr-1p7po

I guess I have only used the 50. I didn't know there were two designs. It looks like the 100 is a much beefier design and also has a different bit swapping mechanism. I would say for the few extra dollars the 100 is probably a smarter buy.

The 100 must be twice as good! After looking at photos of the 2, it does really look it.

Actually, this is too much for the DWARA50. You can get the DWARA100 for $10 at Ace Hardware on sale. I bought one last year and only used it a couple of times, but it seems much more durable than a cheap Harbor Freight one I have. I got the DWARA100 because it is tru 90 degree, where by HF one is not.

Isn't this about the normal price?
I have, and have used this tool. If you use it just once, it pays for itself.

Oh man I'm with you on that. Looks like a more premium (metal) product. I'll admit I got a little nervous hooking my 50 up to an impact driver.

I have the DWARA100, and used it a few times so far. REALLY comes in handy when you have limited space. I purchased it for $9.99 last year, so I'd hold off on this one for a better price, or just get the 100 instead of 50.
