I have the UB version (3 years business warranty and Thunderbolt ports but otherwise the same display) and I've been in love with it ever since I got it. Quite simply, this is the best monitor out there for any professional who wants an ultra-wide for that immersive center-stage energy but whose work gets raped by curves. Great color, great uniformity (YMMV, and NO IPS display is perfect in this regard—but this has some of the least IPS glow I've seen in large screens), and a fantastic satin coat. Very close to the old anti-glare MacBooks. Not glossy eye-fatiguing consumer-grade crap and not really coarse anti-glare like circa 2012 professional monitors. Seriously: want an ultra-wide? Hate curves? Buy it; I can't imagine you'll be sorry.

I have been using flat screen for the past two and half years with out an issues. I actually bought and sold curved because of color and straight line issue.

not curved... hard to use a 34 widescreen without a curve

This is the display to buy if you are doing creative work and need straight lines. For office productivity, I suggest the curve.

I am quite certain that it becomes 75 only when your gaming and GPU support Freesync. Other than that, it is 60.

I read somewhere that the flat version (this one) is 60 Hz so do your own research
