Not sure how this makes front page but the deal for the MGSV Definitive Edition for $8.58 doesn't. Metal Gear Rising is also on sale for $4.04 via same thread:
Because they're a gray market key reseller and it also appears sold out - drealiT

The definitive edition is the only way to get ALL DLC for MGSV.

The DE items include the following DLC only available in the DE:

Windurger S333 Combat Special**
Adam-ska Special*
Maschinen Taktische Pistole 5 Weiss*
Rasp Short-Barreled Shotgun Gold
Personal Ballistic Shield (Olive Drab)**
Personal Ballistic Shield (Silver)*
Personal Ballistic Shield (White)*
Personal Ballistic Shield (Gold)
Cardboard Box (Rocky Terrain)*
Cardboard Box (All-Purpose Dryland)
Cardboard Box (Wetlands)**
Fatigues (Black Ocelot)
Fatigues (Gray Urban)*
Fatigues (Blue Urban)*
Fatigues (All-Purpose Dryland)
A male and a female soldier with white skull tattoos

In order to get those items, you have to purchase the DE. You will get those DLC. There is no way to purchase the above DLC separately.

Plus a few extras for Ground Zeroes. The above DLC is in addition to all the other DLC available.

I've played metal gear since NES. The epic story telling made the metal gear solid gears. Guns do the patriots was such an amazing experience and conclusion to the story. This game has practically zero story and snake barely even talks in it. This isn't a true MGS game in my opinion in that regard.

Showing as $4.49 for me. I sold this game after a week on PS4 when it came out as I couldn't get into it but might give it another shot on PC.

Anyone recommend?

I never played the series but is this the one that supposed to be the epic end and was the best of them all? Might add to my list, might play it at some point after i get to half life 2 (ya I'm little behind)

Worst of them all story wise but since you never played the series, you should love it.

Might as well I try it again. I find it impossible to remotely like this game as a metal gear fanatic like myself
Care to elaborate?

You are a Humble Monthly Subscriber, presumably. You get an extra 10% off Humble Store purchases.

I think some people didn't like the story, and how the second part of the story in the game seemed rushed with the departure of Kojima from Konami. At least that's what I heard.

Personally, I liked the game a lot. The story was good, but got a bit too convoluted, especially since I hadn't played some of the other MG games and had no background on some characters. Gameplay wise IMO it is a lot more like a Far Cry game than your typical MGS game in the sense that there's outposts to capture, upgrades, etc, while still keeping some of the stealth action alive.

Can anyone comment on whether the PC version is well optimized?
