Congrats on the first post! Not a crazy slick deal, but definitely lower than average price if you're already in the market for one.

Never thought I'd see a cordless air compressor. But then again, I can mow my lawn on batteries now...

Wow, I've never heard of a cordless compressor! The reviews appear to be very positive for this thing, can use for medium use nailers on jobsite and can fill tires.
Comes with a 6ah battery. If you're into the DW Flexvolt system, this would be a useful addition.

Very tempting. My only concern is that this compressor is loud.

No clue what this thing is, but it's also available from Costco [costco.com] with a better return policy.

1.2 SCFM does seem laughable for anything demanding.

portability is the main selling point here. it's a bit steep for what it is but the included 6 ah battery sells for ~$80 alone.

I have almost the entire flex volt line of tools, including this compressor. As far as being loud, this thing is damned quiet for a compressor. In addition to this compressor, I also have the dewalt 165psi pancake plug in version (DWFP55126).

The flexvolt compressor is very small capacity and not a lot of power behind it, but for 90% of my tasks it is great. Also, being able to show my friends that I have a cordless air compressor is pretty cool. It is also very small and lightweight. One of my favorite things is that I don't need a super long air hose because I can just bring the compressor with me wherever it is needed and don't have to worry about power.

If you are going to get into the flexvolt line of tools, I highly recommend this compressor. However, if you would only be getting the compressor and no other flexvolt tools, I would say go for the DWFP55126 instead.

For reference, I am including my list of Flexvolt tools, as well as the 20v Flexvolt compatible tools I currently own. I will gladly answer any questions you have about any of the tools listed.

My current Flexvolt tools:

2.5 Gallon Air compressor DCC2560
7-1/4" Circular Saw DCS575
8-1/4" Table Saw DCS7485
12" Double Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw DHS790
Brushless Reciprocating Saw DCS388
String Trimmer DCST970
Handheld Blower DCBL770
4-1/2" - 6" Grinder DCG414

My Dewalt 20v Tools (Flexvolt compatible)

Jigsaw DCS331
Impact Driver DCF887
Hammer Drill DCD996
Cordless/corded Wet/Dry Vacuum DCV581
Hedge Trimmer DCHT820
Portable Power Station DCB1800
Bluetooth Radio Charger DCR025
Area Light DCL070
Compact Jobsite Blower DCE100
