Have to prepay for a year so it costs $84. Oil changes around here are about $20-$25 all inclusive of taxes and fees. So this costs as much as 3-4 oil changes a year.

Not really worth it IMO unless you have a large truck or SUV where oil changes are more expensive. But the average person probably gets their oil changed twice a year, so still kind of expensive.

Thanks for sharing OP, not sure why the quick downvotes.

It seems cardash is figuring stuff out - their main site says they are concierge, pick up your car, etc - but then the actual details just says that you have to take it to a center.

This could be a good deal for people with synthetic oil changes. The site says you can take the car anywhere, including dealerships - so it's not just some agreed low-cost cheap service places.

For a full synthetic oil change and a tire rotation at a Toyota dealer, the costs are about $90-100 (yes that's overpriced, but dealer rates). Even at a cheap groupon place, full synthetic oil changes are at least $50 (and usually like $60+ especially if you need more than 5 quarts). Then tire rotations are extra.

So for $84/year, if you get your car serviced 3x/year (start the service as soon as you need an oil change, then get 2 more within the year), in the 12-months you are coming out quite ahead.

The fine print says $250 max/year in costs though, so you have to balance that. Also, we'd have to see what the quality of service is hear from cardash - if it's too much of a hassle to get reimbursed or service done, or confusion with the provider, then that would defeat the purpose.

For my 6.5 quart full synthetic vehicle, this is definitely a deal I will consider. Just changed my oil though so would have to wait until next due, maybe there will be some feedback by then.

I need to change my oil twice a year, which requires 12 quarts. That is three containers of oil, or about $30-36. I can have my tires balanced on a road-force-balance for $54, which is not something this company will do. Total price is about the same, but with superior labor and oil

Does it cover just 1 car, or can it be used with multiple cars? Because it can definitely be worth it if it covers multiple cars.

He was obviously joking about 1,000 cars Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

In addition, their information is inconstant at best.

Shows a Land Rover badge in the "available for most models" section but than goes on to say excluded vehicles include: "All vehicles eligible except for Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Hummer, and Porsche."

Also most "terms and conditions" links...are not even actual links to view.

And, lowering the limit per year from $250 to $200. And, removed tire rotations as part of the regular service.
