Man of Steel is also 9.99. Too bad so few devices support Vudu 4K + HDR.

I am a SD'er who already did for the free movies. But Google Play does not support HDR. Amazon does not support 4K for 90% of my 4K titles and I do not have apple TV so that is a no go although they definitely have the best deals and one device with both 4K and HDR. I still need an Atmos receiver to get the most of my UV library. I definitely notice a difference between DD+ and Atmos. I should return my Sony 930e and get a 900f instead so i get VUDU with 4K + HDR on the TV app. Sony thinks adding crackle with its subpar 480p resolution is a good thing to put on its TV's, what a joke!

Yeah it sucks that you only get 4k HDR from google play on Chromecast ultra or Nvidia shield. I have an LG OLED so the Vudu app on there supports 4K HDR and I did get an Apple TV from those directTV NOW deals so I have every base covered I think. The sucky thing about Amazon UHD, is that there are some titles that are not listed on the main page as UHD. you have to dig for it. For example, The Expanse season 2 is in UHD but I just clicked on the expanse that showed up on the iniital home page and ended up watching it in FHD. Some movies are tucked away as well. You wouldn't know that Amazon had UHD movies other than their Originals if you don't dig for it.

I bought my first 4K TV 1.5 weeks ago and I thought the growing pains would have been resolved by now. I got a 2017 clearance model and it does not give me 4K from the VUDU app. The more expensive but not as good 2018 model has VUDU with 4K and HDR however. I also though VUDU would give me Dobly TrueHD when i do not have Dolby Atmos like on BD's and UHD's but i quickly learned i only get DD+ so i was hoping not to upgrade my receiver for years but now i will have to upgrade it in a few years.

Good deal but I wish I liked the movie a little more. Definitely the best DC movie since Man Of Steel.

I bought the 4k from vudu for $20 when it released. It's worth it at $10 unless you just don't want to like the movie.
