Get ready for a bunch of thumbs down because of bill credits but bill credits are the new reality. This is a pretty dang good deal for people that know they are staying with Verizon for the next 2 years.

Is it possible to sign up and then pay off the remaining like next day by walking into the Verizon store?

You would lose the bill credit if you cancelled the line. Not sure what you'd gain by doing that if you keep the line active anyways

Yes... but then the bill credits will end. They end when you pay off the phone.

But this seems like a good deal.

I just bought mine a week and a half ago when they were doing $100 off and $230 trade in on my S6. This seems way better; cheaper and no trade in. Think it would be worth it to go back to best buy and see what they can do? I haven't sent in my S6 yet...

That means I'll pretty much for in total like $900?

It totally depends on if they gave you cash for the S6 or not... If they did the $230 in bill credits, then yes, get back in there and fight. If it was cash, maybe argue for the extra $50 rebate deal (you got $100 off instead of $150) and call that good. NOTHING good comes from bill credits - especially when you consider by the time the last credit is issued, the S11 will be out.

Note that the initial $150 off is a little misleading, as Samsung sells this phone for $840 without discounts. Best buy sells it for $912 and verison for $930

Also shows when I clicked on the best buy link that switching from T-Mobile to Verizon qualifies you got a 150 MasterCard gift card. Would make the deal even better for people like me who are on T-Mobile and switch.

I'm not sure because it states you need to bring your own device to Verizon. Maybe you can ask and see if you switched and purchased a new phone it would still work.

Really hot deal if you're looking to upgrade on Android, don't think I've seen savings like this that doesn't require new line, trade-in, etc. $150 instant savings + $300 bill credit; I'd prefer it to be all savings but that seems unrealistic based on the recent trend of carriers doing only bill credits lately. I'd say this is as good as it will get!!
