Looks like Samsung is discounting the AT&T Galaxy S9 phones at $150 and $200 off respectively.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S9 [samsung.com] $569.99
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S9+ [samsung.com] $639.99

Prices on AT&T's site are $789.99(!) for the S9 and $914.99(!) for the S9+ .

This is without any trade-in (additional $100-300 discount depending on phone) . Also comes with free Dex Pad, will ship by 5/13 (MSRP $99.99).

Additional discount for EPP, EDU, and Unidays (add'l $42.75 and $48.00 off) $527.24 or $591.99 (confirmed by MyMiMix and LeleL, thanks guys).
EPP would be the best option because you can earn WOWpoints which is ~$15 back.

Comments:
This deal is ideal for those who are out of contract (therefore there is a monthly line discount) and do not have their unlimited plans (if you have unlimited, you can try to get this phone for 50% off by calling their loyalty department). This would not risk losing the monthly line discount as some users who tried calling in to try to get the phone for 50% off but only realize on their following statement that AT&T removed their line discount (even though the CSR told them there were be no price changes on their monthly statement).

As others have commented, please be careful you do not get charged $7 for expedited shipping (it should be free). If you see that in your cart, remove everything and try adding the phone back again.

Cash Back options/additional savings:
WOWpoints if going through EPP (~$15). If not trading in, use Chase through paypal for 5% cash back for ~$30 back (paypal is part of this quarters 5% bonus cash back).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

How To Fix Common Samsung Discount Pricing Issues
Start by adding any discount you may have to the account if applicable.
You might not see the discount price until the last step. Just try to go through the order process and see if the price changes for you.
Log into the shop Samsung app and see if the discount shows up at the final checkout then Log back into samsung.com and see if the discount now shows up at final checkout.
If you are using edu discount you must verify your account with email link before you log in. If you log in and then verify the account, the discount will not show up unless you use incognito mode or clear cookies.
Try clearing cache, logging in and out, new browser or PC or phone or tablet.
Try starting as a guest and only log in at the end when it forces you to.
Prices sometimes change during the order but make sure the discount appears at checkout.
2 Promo per samsung account and it counts recent trade in phone promos.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S9 [samsung.com] $569.99
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S9+ [samsung.com] $639.99

Additional discount for EPP, EDU, and Unidays (add'l $42.75 and $48.00 off) $527.24 or $591.99 (confirmed by MyMiMix and LeleL, thanks guys).
EPP would be the best option because you can earn WOWpoints which is ~$15 back.
NOT ALL EPP PROGRAMS HAVE WOW POINTS THROUGH PERKSATWORK
Cash Back options/additional savings:
WOWpoints if going through EPP (~$15). If not trading in, use Chase through paypal for 5% cash back for ~$30 back (paypal is part of this quarters 5% bonus cash back). Discover also have 5% back under Discover Deals (through their online webportal).

Also, 3% cash back with e b a t e s (~$18 back).

As others have commented, please be careful you do not get charged $7 for expedited shipping (it should be free). If you see that in your cart, remove everything and try adding the phone back again.

If AT&T's system doesn't recognize the IMEI in order to generate the unlock code, one can always purchase a remote (read: instant) unlock via eBay. This would get you unlocked immediately. https://www.ebay.com/itm/SAMSUNG-...rmvSB=true This technique reads the unlock code from the phone itself, so it doesn't matter if AT&T sees the IMEI or not.

Otherwise wait for the IMEI to show up in AT&T's system. No idea how long this might take. For last SD deal posted on 3/4, people started to receive phone on 3/11 and started to have IMEI accepted on 3/22 if not accepted previously

After unlocking, insert your carrier's SIM card. VoLTE and WiFi calling will probably not work unless you are on AT&T or their MVNOs. Flashing the firmware will fix this.

For other carriers, flash the unlocked firmware [updato.com] using ODIN [google.com]. or flash your carrier's firmware [updato.com] using ODIN after unlocking and converting to U1. To convert to your carriers firmware, flash U1. Insert your carriers SIM. The phone will prompt for a reboot, hit ok. Once the phone comes back up, put the phone in download mode and flash the carrier firmware. Do not flash any firmware prior to entering the unlock code.

Let me help every with answers to the questions being commonly asked

1. Unlocking the phone: ATT should unlock it right away since you are buying tge phone outright. There is no contract requirement
2.once unlocked, you can load the unlocked firmware and use it with any carrier. This firmware removes all carrier bloatware but gives compatible wifi calling and volte with all carriers.
This is basically a debloated, us version of the software and is sold by samsung directly
3. If networked unlocked and the unlocked firmware is not loaded, the phone will work with any gsm carrier, but Volte and wifi calling will not work, except with ATT ( MVNO who use ATT and give these features, will be able to use it, else no)
4. The phone will still be under warranty since it is being flashed with the official samsung firmware, the phone is not being rooted....its like repainting tge car using official paint from the dealership...
5.the ATT firmware can be flashed back anytime required.
6.while flashing firmware, the phone will be formatted

ATT Samsung S9 - $569.99, S9+ - $639 with Free DexPad

https://www.samsung.com/us/smartp.../s/Device/

You can trade in device to reduce the cost further down.
Eg: Cost of S9 with S8 Trade In
$569.99 - $300(Trade In) = $269.99 + Free DexPad + Tax.

Eg: Cost of S9+ with S8 Trade In
$639.99 - $300(Trade In) = $339.99 + Free DexPad + Tax.

Not sure if this is the case for S9 but I know for S7 you can flash them to different carriers and also the unlocked firmware. It's more challenging to flash another carrier branded or unlocked version to AT&T because AT&T's wifi calling and HDvoice is restricted to AT&T branded phones.

You should not have any problem getting these unlocked with AT&T.

I would jump on this in a heartbeat if it was for the unlocked version.

I'm on Verizon and can't stand the apps/crippling that Verizon does on the phone.

This is the same exact phone for every carrier, once it's sim unlocked. Are you still doing free samsung epp for well qualified slickdeal members by PM? It's only a $40 or $50 discount but anyone that wants samsung epp can PM me IF you want the discount fast for a $5 Amazon Gift Card as trade.

WiFi calling is a must for me on ATT. Can't get that with an unlocked version. To each his own

Yea me being with T-mobile, I definitely will stick with the carrier-branded version. Something about MIMO and Wifi calling only being available with T-mobile-branded phones.

Hope T-mo S9+ follows suit soon. $592 for the plus even without the free add-on is pretty sweet.
