So this seems like a steal as a MOCA access point. Just beware if you aren't familiar that you need another device like ecb2500c to connect to your router or maybe your cable/satv box.

Wow that's cheap. I've just been using a bunch of MI424WR routers. There's also used/very good for $9.99 but ships April 26.

Edit: bought two for $13 each. Came in brown cardboard boxes with Time Warner Cable on it. Firmware doesn't allow you to have the vertical bar symbol in your WPA passphrase. I edited the code from https://github.com/jameshilliard/WECB-CC-GPL and compiled/flashed and was able to bypass this. I commented out the checks for that, and it works. Other than that, the firmware is a lot more barebones than the MI424WR.

Also, apparently the ability to disable the WiFi radio is hidden from view on the stock firmware (0.16.8.6), but I didn't see that until I flashed the newer build (v0.18.0.8r).
