Because different brands taste... different. I'm a big fan of 8O'Clock's 100% Columbian, so if this is just a rebranded bag of that, I'm all for it. If it's just Maxwell House, then I'll pass.

Colombian Smilie I actually live in the coffee region in Colombia. It's amazing going to the farms and having them roast the beans right in front of you. Depending on the farm 1lb is $4-8 USD so this is a pretty good deal.

Anyone know who's roasting these for them? My guess is Starbucks or Coffee Bean.

The real problem is the roast date. Who knows how long these beans have been sitting on a shelf. Although if you add cream & sugar to your coffee - this is prob a good deal.

If you have a publix nearby, there are some printable coupons out right now that get you 12oz bags of the community brand coffee for $1.63 each (if you buy 6) starting tomorrow. They sell for 5 and change at Walmart etc...so pretty slick deal and good quality brand....plus more varieties if you're into that. Message me for a link if you want it.
